Join us in Macau, on the spectacular street circuit running right through the huge casinos of the "Las Vegas of the East"! Here you'll find car and motorcycle racing, alternating and thrillingly close. The sound of the engines in the middle of this gambling metropolis delivers non-stop goosebumps! The paddock is also well worth a long visit – here you'll see everything, from high-tech electronics specialists at their computers to mechanics swinging the big panel-beating hammer.

🌆 Hong Kong & Zhuhai - Optional pre-programme for the Macau GP with departure on 14 Nov

Before the race weekend begins in Macau, we start in Hong Kong. The mix of modern skyline, traditional districts and Asian energy makes the city an ideal opening to our trip.

 

After arriving in Hong Kong, we visit the Avenue of Stars overlooking Victoria Harbour and take a stroll together through the K11 district. In the evening we enjoy our first meal together – a relaxed warm-up for the days ahead.

 

The next day we head to Lantau Island. We take the cable car up to the Tian Tan Buddha and visit the Po Lin Monastery. Afterwards we visit the traditional fishing village of Tai O with its famous stilt houses – a peaceful contrast to the big city.

 

On Tuesday we cross by ferry to Zhuhai on the Chinese mainland. There we experience a different, more spaciously laid-out side of the region, before continuing on to Macau in the afternoon and checking into the hotel.

 

 

From Wednesday, the regular Saiger Racing programme for the Macau Grand Prix begins.

"The Peak" closing excursion 23 Nov

Optional excursion to the Peak high above Hong Kong! 

 

On our return journey, we drop off our bags and suitcases at the airport's luggage storage and take the express train to Hong Kong.

 

From there it's a 25-minute walk to the funicular up to the Peak, from where you have a fantastic view over Hong Kong. Especially impressive at nightfall over the illuminated city.

 

There we'll treat ourselves to a fine dinner, for a fitting farewell to our Macau trip.
